The price of the electric version of Tata Harrier kept around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata has showcased the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo 2023. This is a concept car. It is estimated that this vehicle can be launched in India by 2025.
Apart from the regular closed grille, the Tata Harrier EV gets a number of EV specific visual elements. This electric car has connected LED DRLs, shiny Tata logo, vertically slotted bumper, attractive alloy wheels, connected LED taillights and modified bumper. Overall, the shape and styling of this vehicle looks very similar to the diesel version of the SUV car.
Inside the cabin too, it gets a host of EV-exclusive changes, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology features. For safety, this electric car has a 360-degree camera and ADAS (Advance Driver Assistance System).
Dual electric motor setup has been given in the electric version of Tata Harrier. The Harrier EV is the first car in Tata's current line-up to get an all-wheel drivetrain. It is Tata's first electric car (along with the Safari EV) to be based on the Omega-Arc platform.
The Tata Harrier EV is expected to be priced around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against the upcoming Mahindra XUV E8 (electric XUV700) in the segment. It will also compete with the MG ZS EV and BYD Eto 3.
