Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has been confirmed to return to India. BGMI will soon be made available on Play-Store. This has been confirmed by Krafton, the parent company of the game. Krafton has said that the Government of India has given the go-ahead for the return of BGMI. Let us tell you that BGMI was banned in the country in July last year, after which the BGMI app is missing from Apple's App Store and Google Play Store. The number of users of the game in the country had crossed the figure of 100 million within 1 year.
BGMI may return in the next 90 days. On the return of the game to Krafton, Sean Hyunil Sohan, CEO, Krafton India, said in a statement, “We are extremely grateful to the Indian authorities for allowing Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) to resume operations. We would like to express our gratitude to our Indian gaming community for their support and patience over the past few months. We are excited to announce that Battleground Mobile India will soon be available for download and we can't wait to welcome you to our platform."
BGMI was launched especially for Indian gamers after the PUBG Mobile ban. Regarding the game, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has said that Krafton will have to ensure that the rules of the Government of India are not violated. With the return of BGMI, the game will also see a lot of changes. The game will have a time limit on how many hours a user can play the game. The color of the blood in the game will also be changed to green or blue.
