Atiq Ahmed News: Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed were murdered in Prayagraj on Saturday night at 10.30 pm. Three accused Lavlesh, Sunny and Arun were arrested in this case.
Atiq Ahmed Shot Dead: The post- mortem of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed, who were killed outside Kalvin Hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, took place on Sunday. During this, videography of the entire process was also done. The team of doctors did an X- ray of the dead bodies of Ashraf and Atiq, in which it was revealed that many bullets were stuck in both of their bodies. Atiq and Ashraf body have entry points of bullets but no exit points, in this case the dead bodies were X- rayed.
The post- mortem is being conducted by a panel of five doctors. Apart from this, videography will also be done. Scanning of the dead bodies will also be done before the post- mortem, so that the bullets can be known. It is feared that Atiq has 9 bullets and Ashraf has 7 bullets. It is understood that after the post- mortem, the police will hand over the bodies of Atiq and Ashraf to their brother- in- law and cousin. Atiq and Ashraf were shot on Saturday when they were going for medical examination.
CM Yogi ordered an inquiry
On the other hand, after this massacre, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered a high- level inquiry into the incident and gave instructions to set up a three- member judicial inquiry commission. At the same time, after the incident, prohibitory orders have been implemented in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were brought to Prayagraj for trial in connection with the 2005 Umesh Pal murder case.
A team of Uttar Pradesh Police brought Atiq and Ashraf to Prayagraj on March 26 from the high- security Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad, (Gujarat) to produce them before a court in the 2006 Umesh Pal kidnapping case.
