Mahindra Booking for your new electric car XUV400 from today
New Delhi, Auto Desk. Mahindra and Mahindra Booking for its new electric car XUV400 has started from today. The company unveiled this car last year, the electric SUV was launched this month with a starting price of Rs 15.99 lakh. Available in two variants, EC and EL, the price of the electric SUV goes up to Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
All these prices will be applicable for the first 5,000 bookings that Mahindra will receive through its official website. At the same time, the company can start the delivery of the car from March this year.
Both the variants come with two sets of battery and charging options have been done. The EC variant of the XUV400 is offered with a 34.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and comes with 3.3 kW charging option and 7.2 kW charging option. The electric variant with high charging capability will come at a price of Rs 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The high-spec EL variant is equipped with a 39.4 kWh battery pack and is Offered with only 7.2 kW charging option.
Let me tell you that currently coming in the Indian market
Mahindra XUV400 claims to offer the highest range among small electric SUVs. The top spec EL variant can offer a range of 456 kms on a single charge. While the lower EC variant can offer a range of up to 375 kms. In terms of performance, both the variants of the XUV400 have the same output. The EV generates 150 PS of max power and 310 Nm of peak torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 8.3 seconds. It gets three different driving modes - Fun, Fast and Fearless.
Tata Nexon EV will compete
In the Indian market, this car competes with Tata Motors in the four-wheeler segment. The XUV400 will compete with the Tata Nexon EV in terms of price and range on offer. The Nexon EV, on the other hand, is offered in more variants than the XUV400 and is priced between ₹14.99 lakh and ₹17.50 lakh.
