Data science is growing at a rapid pace. Many youngsters today refer to a career in data science as one of the "sexiest" professions. I entered the world of Data Science through Simplilearn’s Data Science Bootcamp and got placed in a Tier 1 company immediately after the course. I haven’t looked back since and fell in love with the job with each passing day. I am writing this article to mention the factors that make Data Science one of the most sought-after careers among the youth today.
There is a lot of variation in this field. Data science learners find themselves in a new field in every new case. They are required to understand the operational process of each of these new fields. To understand the operational process, they must explore and gain knowledge related to various aspects of the field. This gives many data science learners the thrill of working like a detective. Those who are interested in this genre and have grown up reading detective books have felt like Sherlock Holmes after their experience with each case of Data Science.
People who are interested in the field of research state that Data Science gives them three significant results. These are namely, discovery, insights, and innovation. These results are what excites them about Data Science.
Data science and machine learning are in great demand at present and it is here to stay. So this field could attract anybody who wants to build a stable career and get into a high-paying job. The same reason also makes one feel powerful.
In Data Science, one has to handle unstructured data and gather insight from it. Once a case has been successfully solved, the problem solver feels a sense of achievement, entitlement, and purpose.
To come to a conclusion, one has to investigate a situation, gather new knowledge, and relate it with the previously obtained knowledge. This helps to increase one's analytical skills and capacity to make better decisions.
Lastly, data science is of interest to anybody who is interested in the concept of programming, coding, and handling data.
